Spiritual Renewal at The Center

 

Integrative Medicine Whole-Person Care

Those involved in the caring professions, including ministers, pastors, lay leaders, elders and ministry leaders give so much of themselves every day.  Often, they find they have little left over for themselves and their families.  Discouraged and burned out, these vital servants need a time of reflection, restoration and renewal.  With this in mind, The Center has designed a specialized Spiritual Renewal Program.

 This individualized program addresses the specific needs of each person from a whole-person approach, focusing on emotional, relational, physical and spiritual renewal.  This is more than just passive “time away.”  It is, instead, an active, productive time of personal reflection, spiritual recommitment, physical restoration and emotional renewal.  Whenever appropriate, family members are encouraged to come and participate during the course of the Spiritual Renewal Program.  This time should never be considered a “retreat;” rather, it is a time to advance your spiritual walk with God and renew your strength.   

In order to accommodate a variety of scheduling needs, The Center has 1-week, 2-week, 3-week, and 4-week Spiritual Renewal Programs available, which include the following components:

• Approximately 40 hours per week of direct clinical care services, including multiple individual sessions.

• Complete psychological testing and assessments, including:

  • Psychological/Social History Questionnaire

  • Symptoms Checklist

  • Millon Behavioral Medicine Diagnosis

  • Spiritual Well-Being Questionnaire

  • Assessment by our Staff Psychiatrist
     

Complete physiological testing and assessments, including:

• Assessment & Nutrition Plan by our dietician

• Medical Health Exam (if indicated)

• Health Appraisal Analysis

• Quantitative Organic Acid Profile

• Complete Medical Workup and Exam performed by one of our physicians

• Medication reassessment – if you are on medications, such as anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medications, we will provide an assessment of effectiveness and provide any new prescriptions.
   

  We may elect to do various blood testing, including:

  • Food Allergies

  • Complete Blood Count with electrolytes

  • Automated Chemical Profile
     

• We may also elect to perform hormonal profiles.
• There are other tests that are not listed here/

• Fitness Assessment by Certified Trainer, where indicated, designed to measure a baseline of your physical condition.
• Access to fitness facilities and fitness classes for minimal charges.
• Healthy, nutritious weekday lunches (organic, nutritional emphasis), which include 4 selections especially designed.
• A personalized, autographed copy of the following books by Dr. Gregg Jantz. In addition to these, you will receive at least one resource that speaks directly to the type of trauma experienced.  (In the event that you have any or all of these, we have alternate selections handpicked by Dr. Jantz):

God Can Help You Heal: How to Obtain Healing Through Spiritual Means   Moving Beyond Depression:  A Whole-Person Approach to Healing   Healing the Scars of Emotional Abuse: Revised, Expanded Version

Personal involvement and direction by Dr. Jantz. A daily journal for you to use with your assignments. A variety of reference handouts to build your own “Recovery Handbook” to take home and use in the months to come.

Nearly 100% of our clients will schedule weekly telephone sessions for 3 to 6 months as part of their continuation of care plan.  We find this is nearly always recommended and extremely beneficial to your recovery and relapse prevention. Pastors & Ministry Track

This is the most discreet and complete care program available. We have a very special "Pastors & Ministry" track that is designed for 1 to 2 weeks in which we utilize our 'ministry experts' exclusively for this program. Call for complete confidential information. We work with church boards, councils, and elders on a regular basis. We are able to assist most pastors in our Ministry Fast Track 1 & 2 Week Intensives.
